how often do you guys check ur cams?this trail is really hot and i dont want to disturb any of the deer activity because if the buck im looking for shows himself on cam then i will be plaing a stand near the trail..I just want to know if going in once very 4 days or so is too much?thanks!

I think it's important to disturb your spot as liitle as possible. That being said, it is very difficult to resist the temptation to check the cameras more often. I would say checking them prior to the season no more than every three weeks is probably enough. I am also very careful with scent control when checking cameras, just as I would be during the hunting season. Hope this helps.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

I agree with PastorJim on scent control. If you can time your entry and exit right before a good rain, that will help.

I also agree with the last two posts about scent control and like to check my cameras before or during a rain. When I first put a cam out i like to check after about a week to see if I want to keep the cam in this location and then if so I start checking every 3 weeks or so.
