Default anything with mineral blocks

anybody use anything with mineral blocks like corn or something I have a trophy rock and was wondering if i should put anything with it. about 10 yards away i have hastas but i have them fenced in so they can grow bigger and about 5 yards from them i planted a food plot a perennial clover mix that is starting come up. so in a little while they should have a buffet but for now do you have any suggestions on what to use with a mineral rock.

bucksniper,

I use a product called lucky buck. It is some sort of mineral supplement. I don't know what all is in it but the deer hammer it every year. They even dig in the ground to get at it after the product is gone. It comes in awhite bucket and looks like fine red sand. You can google the name and get their website. All I can say is it works great for me.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

i started my mineral sites with a plain food block and poured the deer cane gel over the food block. once the food block was eaten up, i threw a trophy rock in it's place and they have continued use.

Right now I have a trace mineral block on a stump and every now and again when I pull the card I dump 50lbs of corn on and around the stump. The ground is bare now all around the stump and in some instances, especially where the water as run off the the block onto the corn Ive seen the holes dug all around it...recently I added a supplement to the corn to see the results or if there even will be any...
