Default Moultrie I 40 Issue

I went out and checked my cameras yesterday. When I pulled my memory card from my I 40 and put it in my digital camera to view the pictures, it read incompatible jpeg. I have never had this happen before. I tried the same memory card in a different camera today and put it in my digital camera and it worked fine.I was able to download the pictures onto my computer with no problem, I just could not view them on the digital camera. Any ideas ?

If you're able to save them off to somewhere else (IE: your computer) then do it right away.
Then put the card back into your trail cam and do a format on it and keep an eye on it.

Cards do go bad but I've seen what you are describing and the card wasn't bad.

That pic is pretty small so I can't really see what's going on.
If you're only posting one pic then you can resize your pic to 1024x768 and they will fall under the minimum byte size for a post.
If you're posting more than one then resize to 800x600.
I personally like to upload my pics to photobucket and link to them and you don't have to resize or anything.

pnut, that is off of photobucket. This was just a small buck that was on that moultrie camera. I think I am going to buy two new memory cards and see what happens. Thanks for the info.

Well I went and bought two new memory cards, and this did not fix my problem. I still get ( incompatible jpeg) on my digital camera when I try and view the pictures on the memory cards.

I just reread this post.
Not all digital cameras will read the contents of the card correctly.
I have an old Canon digital that will not read the pics off of my Scoutguard but my new 2yr old Kodak and new Nikon's Coolpic works fine.

My digital camera and I40 are the same from last year, as are the memory cards. I had no problems with this last year, nothing has changed, that's what has me so baffled.

It's usually best to test any camera before putting it out on a Trail . Been there , done that !
