Thanks all for the responses.....Never placed a cam over a carcass before, and it's been kinda fun seeing what I get.

I don't think it's more than 8-12 inches off the ground max,Pastorjim.I did essentially the same thing after I located a pair of Wood ducks using a small water hole. Waded out and put a cam a foot above water level on a small tree after I spooked them off. I saw them circle around and return after I left the area. Hopefully with any luck I be able to post some pics of them soon....
