Default Cruddeback IR

Here is a early evening pic.

Very dissappointed with the picture quality of this camera. The daytime pics are nice, but as you can see the night pics are terrible.I will not be purchasing anymore of these.I will stick with the MoultrieI40

Looks like you have a decent buck back there. IMO, from what I've seen, I don't think cudde's are worth the money.

crabclaw,

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks as if you had to lighten them yourself to even get them to show up as well as they did. Too bad the camera is not working out the way you had hoped. That can be very frustrating after spending that kind of money. Great buck though. If you have a chance, post some of your daytime pics, they are usually pretty decent.

Blessings.....Pastorjim

I have a cudde no flash and it is a great camera (but expensive). From what i hear the cudde capture flashis a good camera and the capture IR takes good day pictures but the night pictures are lousey.

Your camera is missing the firmware update 22-22...This will greatly help the picture but not be the best....I had same issues and cudde sent me a new cam and i'm still not happy...The newest firm ware update did help but still not great but better than what you have... If you need the firmware update drop me a email and I will forward it to you...Last I knew the 22-22 version wasn't on their web-site yet!

Cuddeback used to be what everyone talked about. Why would a company like that want to go backwards. You're right I would stick with the I40 also.

I had a cuddeback digital Paid about $400 for it, it died ,Cuddeback says $200 to fix it Don't make it anymore[:@]All are made in China now, They took in trade $125 for a capture Great camera but by time I paid shipping and shipped back I could have purchased a new one for same price. I have a new excite for x-mas also obsolete. I like there pic's but service sucks.

I dont like the no flashes as much as i do the captures. They captures are flash however. They are a lot cheaper and have a lot clearer photos. Good luck with your camera though, as once stated, it can be very frustrating when your camera was stolen or not working the way you expected it to.
