Default Resizing Pics

I have seen posts where people are talking about it taking a long time to resize pics. Thought I would let you all know that I use a freeware program that I have had for some time. It will let you resize hundreds of pictures at one time before you upload them to photobucket or wherever. The program is called "Multiple Image Resizer" or MIR. and can be downloaded from http://www.multipleimageresizer.net. Hope this helps somebody.

Just upload them to photobucket and link to them.
Photobucket resizes them for you.

If I resize my pictures before I upload the upload process is much faster. It only takes a short time to batch resize them with that program. Most of my pictures from my cam are about 900 Kb before the resizing and after the resize are only about 70 kb. That is why I thought some people might be able to benefit from the Multiple Image Resizer.

I don't know about Vista. I have seen too many negative reports about it to upgrade. I do know that some software says it won't work with Vista but it will and some says it will but it won't.

I must still do this the hard way or something. I just right click on the photo I want to resize and open with paint. From thereI click on image at the top of the pic I want to resize. Then go down on the drop down and click resize/skew.. It works for me..

Phil, your way works good for just one or two pics but I can batch resize 400 pictures to the same size in a matter of a couple minutes with MIR.
