Default In front of your trail camera

What products do you use in front of your camera to get the game to stop?

We can't bait deer here but if I could I would use corn. I do try and set up near water.

How has the trophy rock worked for you? Some people say that the deer come from far away to visit it, while some just say that they act like it is a regular rock.

Great! I especially use it when they still have the velvet so that I can get a good idea how many are out there.

i use buck grub. but i get more birds than deer. probably because its winter and the birds need food.

Over the years I have tried everything in front of my cams (since corn will be gobbled up with in a day or 2 because of our million turkeys)] from Trophy Rock to home made mineral licks to Buck Jam and the best thing I have found is generic mineral blocks that you can get at your local feed store for $6.00 each. I have gotten pics of hundreds of bucks using these blocks over the last 2 years. Pike

pike

i know that you are a york pa guy from huntingpa.com. where do you buy that block at? What minerals and nutrients are in the block? I want to start to make my own homemade minerals because it will save me a lot of money, and i get a lot more of the product.
