What is he??

I have showed a few people this pic and some think nine and some think eight. I have no clue, if you look at the base on the right side it kind of looks like a point. Not sure but just wondering what you guys think.

He looks to be an 8 with the possibility of either:

1A - A kicker
1B - Some velvet coming off
1C - Some bark from rubbing

Could easily be, good call! Another thing to Nyhunter, If that Is bone It has to be an Inch long to be considered a point.
