Default USING RECHARGEABLE BATTERYS

i called MOULTRIE and they said you cant use rechargeable batterys because they dont put out volts you need.

well, i have the enegizers alkaline rechargeable ones and i tried them.

they took 75 beautiful pictures at night and power still at 99%.

so far, i see no problem using them .

I have been using rechargables in my Reconyx cameras for 1 year. No problems. They perform better than other batteries all the way around. It has been one year since I bought any batteries for my cameras.

they say the NIMH type rechargeable ones are best.

I have the SG550, and I use the low discharge AA rechargables. It's very important that you get the low discharge ones since the regular NiMH lose their charge within a month. I ran my SG550 for 4 months on 8 low-discharge AA batteries, and it was still going strong when I brought it in to recharge!

I have the Imedion's and I got them here:

You need to get a set of AA-D or AA-C adapters, never buy C or D batteries again! The adapters are online only, I have never seen them in a store, but they are only like $1 each shipped. In cold weather Reconyx says to use Energizer Lithium batteries in adapters, they last much longer than any normal C battery.
