Default problem with timber view cam. HELP?

Got a few pics on my walmart cam. I downloaded the software and tried some test pics. worked fine. After 3 days in the woods with no rain I brought it home to check. Cannot get it to work. Directions say plug usb into cam then computer then turn on cam. Autoplay will not work on my com so I have to go thru start, computer, then removable disk. At the removable disk it hasa pop up that says could not be performed because of I/O device error. USB on computer is fine cause my other personal camera works. What could be the prob? Do i need another usb cable? I'd really like to see what's on the cam. Thanks for any help.

I don't know anything about that particular camera.
Does it not have a removeable SD card?
Or is it internal memory only?

What OS is your computer running?
If you're connecting your camera directly to the pc then you need to connect it via usb then turn the cam on. You should see the pc then detect and install appropriate drivers.
If that don't work then go buy a card, they are less than 10bucks.
Then all you have to do is pull the card and plug into a card reader (if your pc don't have one, they are dirt cheap too).
