Default My Opinion on Reconyx...

For those of you who are wondering about Reconyx, here's my opinion. I have an RM 45 which only takes B&W pics in 1.3 MP, but it is incredible. It is so fast it's scary. Here's an example pic. It's the third pic of the buck since he walked into view. Keep in mind that I had to compress the image to post it here. I like Cuddebacks but this Reconyx crushes them. I bought my Reconyx used and I've had zero problems with it.

The sensing range and zone are awesome, it is well built and password protected. It really is near-video speed between pics.

Glad to see you are using one. I have the RM45 an RC55 an they are as you say. The one thing I can tell after using them for a year is you need rechargeablebatteries when it getsdown in the teens. Rechargeables will last about 6 weeks in the cold an about 2 1/2months in the warmer weather. They do have a very fast trigger!

Very nice....I think they are a bit over priced imo......They would have my business if they were in the same price range as the cuddebacks and scoutguards.

Agreed, no reason to have $500 camera's in todays martkets unless you can put a cellular SIM card in them and the cams send you pics on your smartphone as it takes them.
