Default Pulled the Leaf Rive in for another Year

Well, I was able to stretch another year out of the 'ol Leaf River, but I think I will have to retire it now. The latches are busted, Batteries don't hold up as well, and... I think I am getting the Moutrie i40 for Christmas Guess I will have to see if the leaf river still works inside with the flash turned off. Ooops, sorry dear, I didn't know it was on

I like my I40, but I gave up on putting it out looking perpindicular with a trail because all I was getting was butt shots. The trigger is just too slow. A pile of food is the way to go.

Uh-Oh, I got busted. I don't know why, but I had my Leaf River on inside the house, set to "Daytime Only" pictures, with the flash setting set to "Off." Well, after returning home from work, my wife informed me that my deer cam had taken her picture that morning when she was getting dressed. She said she was getting clothes from her bureau when the flash went off. Ooops. I don't understand why the flash went off.

Not unless they have changed over the last 2-3 years. I ended up sending everyone back and will never buy another.
