I've got a 11-9901 Bushnell Trail Scout Pro 3.0 mp. I've got it set up to take the IR night pics (light switch is UP for IR, switch is on the moon and star instead of the sun...don't know the name of that switch..and all other settings are normal, 24hr, etc.)...with the setup, it takes the daytime pics in black and white, and the night pics are barely visible...I've included an example of each. You can tell the IR is giving off "something" because you can JUST barely make out the sticks in the foreground and the deer in the lower left at about 8-10 feet. But these don't look ANYTHING like other IR cam pics I've seen online. But...maybe it's fine, and they are JUST out of range...what would be the effective range of the IR. Any suggestions as far as settings go...I haven't checked it yet...but COULD I have the am and pm settings for the time reversed? Just trying to think what the problem could be...will probably change the settings over to regular flash mode next time out...I've put links to some of the other pics below...
Another day shot...overexposed...does not face the sunrise...
