Default First Trail Cam Pics...something doesn't seem right...

I've got a 11-9901 Bushnell Trail Scout Pro 3.0 mp. I've got it set up to take the IR night pics (light switch is UP for IR, switch is on the moon and star instead of the sun...don't know the name of that switch..and all other settings are normal, 24hr, etc.)...with the setup, it takes the daytime pics in black and white, and the night pics are barely visible...I've included an example of each. You can tell the IR is giving off "something" because you can JUST barely make out the sticks in the foreground and the deer in the lower left at about 8-10 feet. But these don't look ANYTHING like other IR cam pics I've seen online. But...maybe it's fine, and they are JUST out of range...what would be the effective range of the IR. Any suggestions as far as settings go...I haven't checked it yet...but COULD I have the am and pm settings for the time reversed? Just trying to think what the problem could be...will probably change the settings over to regular flash mode next time out...I've put links to some of the other pics below...

Another day shot...overexposed...does not face the sunrise...

Two other night shots...there are deer in the pics as computer enhancement shows them...

Thanks for any input on the setup...anybody know the email address for Bushnell customer service?

That camera doesn't have the greatest of reviews over at http://chasingame.com/
I'd recommend reading the manual until you understand each setting completely then reconfigure it. If it's still acting up then take it back.

Default I think I figured out the problem...

After carefully studying the manual...I believe the I/R filter is not working properly...thus the dark, night i/r pics...the filter is not switching over to night mode and is blocking the i/r light, and messing with theexposure for the day pictures as well...am going to switch it over to regular flash and then send it in after the season is over. Just thought I'd post for anyone who might have a similar problem.
