Default First Trail Cam... What fun!

I just bought a Moutlrie M40, so I can see what type of bucks I have on our lease. To test it, I put it in the wood behind my house (subdivision out side of Charlotte NC). I set it up Sunday at 3pm and took it down today at 3pm so its been out for 48 hours. I was thinking I'd get 2-3 pictures. To my surprise, I had 40 photos. WOW. I was like a kid at Christmas looking forward to seeing what was on it. Here are three of the 40.

About 25 photos were of these three deer, the remaining were coons and a rabbit. I'm thinking the larger darker doe is the mamma, the larger light coat doe is a 1.5 year old, and then obviosuly the fawn. The deer came Sunday and Monday evening between 6pm - 8pm and Tuesday morning from 730am - 8am. I love this camera!

A11en,

You are in danger of starting something you will not be able to control or live without. To me, trailcams are so addictive, they should be on the controlled substance list.

There could be a number of things. Angled wrong, too far away, trigger speed. Try, where the camera is at, doing something out in front of it for awhile and then check your pics. See where it catches you. If not much then I'd say something is wrong with the camera. Check all your settings also.
