Trail cam take pics of rain or hail?

no. none of mine ever have. what you have to worry about is windy, sunny days.

I've only had 1 or 2 pics with rain on it. And there has been alot of rain this year. So I'm assuming the wind had blown a branch enough to trigger it.

most cams go off when there is a heat change in the area...Mine has never been triggered by the elements..

Elements such as facing it towards the sun will set it off. So I agree with the heat change factor.
