Default Wildview STC-TGL1 version 1.8 (pics/review)

Posted are pictures from my Wildview that I purchased for $50.00 from Wal-Mart. This is probably the bottom of the barrel digital camera out there but if you want to get started on seeing what's eating your corn, salt block, or deer lickand your on a budget this will work for you.

I'll post up more pictures as hunting season (Archery Deer/ Fall Turkey)approaches.

Here ya go.

Pros:
CHEAP!!!
User friendly, easy set up
Has a 8MB internal memory or can use SD Cards
Able to upload photos in the field with USB cord. (I carry my laptop)
Takes pictures up to 40 yds in day light.

Cons:

Takes 4 "C" batteries. Only last 2 weeks!!!
No Date / Time Stamp
Slow snap shot. I'm talking 5 seconds later!!
Objects need to be 5yds in the dark to get a bright picture.

The quality may not be as good as the upper end cams but they have there use not everyone can afford a $ 200 or $300 camera . I own the $ 98 D 40 from walmart it was all i can afford but it works for me !

I was like 17 when I bought my 1st camera. I just saved up for it cause I knew it would be better than a cheaper one.

You got some real good pics on the Tril Cam . Thanks for posting them . DICK's Sporting Goods also had the Wildview STC-TLG1 for $50 and Wildview has a $10 REBATE on the camera plus I had a $10 coupon to use at DICKs so the camera was $30 . Sweet deal ...........

PICTURES LOOK GOOD FOR A 30.00 SET-UP. I'VE BEEN USING 2 HIGHLANDER PHOTOSCOUT FILM CAMERA'S FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS AND HAVE NEVER HAD A PROLEM WITH EITHER OF THEM. THEY HAVE A REMOVEABLE 35MM CANON CAMERA AND A COMPLETELY WATERPROOOF BODY WHICH TAKE EXCELLENT PICTURES. I JUST ORDERED ONE OF THE NEWER MODEL CUDDEBACK EXPERT ALONG WITH A BEAR SAFEAND WANT TO GET A NO FLASH. I'M NOT SURE WETHER TO GET THE NEW UPDATED CUDDEBACK NO FLASH OR ORDER THE NEW CUDDEBACK CAPTURE. THEY ARE BACKORDERED ON CALBELAS FOR ABOUT 3 WEEKS. THEY ALSO HAVE THE NEW BEAR SAFES FOR THE NEW CAPTURE. ONE THING I DON'T LIKE IS THE 25 FOOT NO FLASH RANGE BUT IT HAS 3.0 MP FOR NIGHT AND DAY INSTEAD OF THE 1.3ON THENO FLASH FOR NIGHT PICTURES. ANY SUGGESTIONS ANYONE????
