Default 12 volt batterie pack?

I bought a12 volt batterie pack for my stealth cam... I plugged the wrong plug into it to charge it and it burnt out the batterie... Is there anyway I can hook up like an old tractor batterie or anything like that to my camera?

I haven't done this yet,but I am going to,is I have a moultrie 6 volt and I was tired of buying batteries all winter and a guy told me to buy a 6 volt motorcycle battery for alot longer life. Its all he uses. So I would think, but don't hold me to it, you should be able to do that.

Have you ever checked on a new battery pack? Or what about 1 of those batteries for the power wheels in the bike section of wal-mart? They are rechargable also. Might be a closer connection then trying to wire up from a tractor battery. Especially since you don't have wiring skills.

I too have the stealth cam 12v battery pack for one of mine, the rechargable battery is replaceable and shouldn't be more than $15-$20. I get about 5 months out of one charge with one of wildviews lower end cameras, I think it is the 3.0???? For simplicity of hooking it up I would just replace the 12v battery you burnt up and it will all still plug right in...

Hope this helps. This battery will last longer since it has more Amp Hours than the 8ah you had.
