Default She's finally ready

Got the screws and a tap (4-40) for the thimbles and drilled and tapped and installed them on the underrib. She looks pretty good in the curly maple stock. I hope she shoots as good as she looks.

The pics don't do the stock justice. There is a lot of striping on it, especially underneath in front of the trigger guard.

Thanks Dave. I had Pecatonia Long rifle (spelling) make the stock using a Hawken blank except I eliminated the patchbox and had the LOP shortened to 13.5". I gave the nose of the forearm a contour similar to that of the Renegade because I didn't want a nose cap nor did I want it rounded off.
The stock was 90% inletted and took several hours to complete. I have 3 T/C flintlocks so the one I put on here came off my Renegade because it was the fastest of the three.
Weather is really being crappy the last couple days and I'm headed to NC on a ML hog/deer hunt on Sunday and I suddenly got a leak in my roof that I have to fix before I leave so I won't get to shoot it until I come back.
