Default have any of you guys?

ever shot a deer and them had to load it into a canoe to get it home. I have seen a few pictures of guys doing this, i think it is so cool. I find my self looking for spots to hunt that I would need a canoe to acess them.

I was just wondering, later.

Nope, but I have been in a canoe enough times to know that the appropriate picture would be showing some poor guy swimming back to the bank, after tipping over and losing his bow, arrows, stand, buck, etc........

I agree, the pics are cool

A friend & I have loaded one into a bass-boat before, actually my biggest WT buck to date. Does that count?

Guss, I don't have a pic of the deer in the boat, but here's a picture of the deer. Shot w/a Monarch longbow & footed/tapered cedar arrow w/either a Zwickey or Magnus 2 blade head on the business end. Most of the older forum members are prolly tired of me showing it off. Hehe.

Guss
Never done it with deer, but a couple of times with black bear. Worked out really well. We used the canoe to bait on the the far side of lakes to get away from roads while being able to transport the bait easily.
