Default GLOOM, DESPAIR, AGONY ON ME!

got an email from LBR two days before he left, Pigdog has my new bow finished and ready to ship! it will probably get to his house while he is gone! he gets back the 23rd I think hopefully I can wait that long. Our season opens here in MS Oct 1st so hopefully I can shoot it enough to get a string to set in before season opens.
I'm tellin ya that boy is a sadomasachist (sp) he likes to make me miserable. First he sold me on wood arrows, then he sold me on longbows, then he sold me on ChekMates, I am sure it will be something else if I keep hangin around him.
Anyway are any of you looking for any new purchases for the season ahead? bow? arrows? stands? land? new camp?

Pat,

Just be thankful it's sitting in MS and not in the Chek-Mate shop. There's fish in the river now and Marc has a burning desire to bonk a few of em.

Pat,

That is kind of a bummer about your Chek-Mate.
I have all my bows shipped to my parents house because someone is always home.
My Sley bow came last year by USPS on Saturday. My mom didn't hear the mailman knock and I had to wait until Monday to pick it up.
Not as bad as your deal but was painful to wait until Monday to go get it.
I, presently, have a Trails End recurve on order that I'm supposed to receive next month.
I ordered it June 4, 2001 so it's been awhile.
Will be glad when it's finally here.
I'm also thinking about getting a new tree stand sometime this week.
Have narrowed it down to 4, lol.
Ol'Man Grand Vision, API GS Supermag, Buck Shot Mag, or Tree Lounge.

Over a year wait for a bow? I don't know if any is worth that much to me! It's great when they finally get here though.

God bless,
Brandan
