Traditional Bowhunters of Georgia Shoot
Shot there this past weekend--had a ball! Excellent people, great course, and some good novelties to boot. Tried to defend my "title", but wound up in second. It was exciting to the end--two of us were tied for first on the second day of the shoot, and were tied again at the last station with two targets to go. He shot two 5's, I shot two 3's (5,3,x scoring). It was a lot of fun--if you can, plan for it next year!
Got the Kentucky Klassic coming up in a few weeks, then Twin Oaks, possibly Elberton, Cloverdale, and the AL State Championship. Might squeeze one or two others in if I can--hope to see you there!

Chad,
Congrats on the great finish!!!! I'd love to shoot with you again.
GA had its shoot during the opener of our Spring Gobbler. Needless to say I was in the woods, my partner and I came out with two nice Osceolas. Before you ask, it was done with a shotguns. Maybe next year I'll have more time to get ready to setup with a tradbow.

The AL state championship is at Tannehill, but it's in August--it's a dang challenge just to survive the heat and humidity!
It wasn't too great a finish--lol--but I was happy for the guy that won. Congrats on the birds! I've got to try that one of these days. Hope to make it to the TBOF shoot again next year--really enjoyed that one too.

I'd really like to make KK this year but with gas so darn high I am only going to plan one out of state shoot and that has to be Cloverdale. Hope you get the chance to drop me on my head there.

Shoot--if I had your money I'd give the cashier an extra $100 every time I stopped so the next poor fellow that filled up could get some relief! I'll be at Cloverdale--paid for my spots in Jan, I think--be sure to stop by!

Chad,
Thats the problem with being on top, there ain't but one way to go from there. The view is always better from the lead dog position though. Somedays ya got it, somedays ya don't, but you can't win if ya don't play. Good shootin again!
