Default How would you rate a Dan Quillan bow???

Hello all, long time no post. I trust God has kept everyone healthy and wise? Well healthy anyhow. I recently purchased a Dan Quillan takedown that is not the prettiest stick to behold but it sure flings an arrow with authority. I know Mr. Quillan made bows for awhile but is currently not as active. What are you oppinions on his bows? I realize beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and I do not intend to put this bow up as it really does shoot nice, I'm just fishing for information.
Thanks all,
Towerrat (formerly MPscout)

I've only had one Dan Quillion bow for about a year, the Bamboo Longhunter, and I really liked it. But I decided I needed a new bow and a guy had some spare cash... Like several other bows I've let get away from me over the years, that's one I wish I'd kept.

Welcom back Rat! I liked the Longhunters ok--I'd rate them a 6, maybe a 7 on a scale of 1-10. Dan didn't make the bows he sold, he just designed them and farmed out the work. I haven't seen him in several years, but hear his health isn't too good these days.

Didn't know he had a td longbow--what's it called?
