Default The Honeymoon Is Over!

Several weeks ago I switched to shooting three fingers under after having shot splitfingers with two under for three years. Last night, I decided I didn't like the difference in sound I was getting with my bow while shooting with three under.

I switched back to splitfingers. I shot at 10, 15, 20 and 35 yards. The two shot groups I was getting were under four inches, at all yardages. At 10 and 15 yards I was putting the two arrows in a 1" circle. I was around 2.5" at 20 yards and 4" at 35 yards. I WILL be ready for my shot within 20 yards this year!!

Rats...I thought you had gotten tired of your bow and was ready to sell it......<img src=icon_smile_blackeye.gif border=0 align=middle>

Glad you got it all together though! From what I have been told, about the only difference in a bow tillered for split or three under will be the noise. Personally, I can't hit a barn from the inside shooting 3-under (can hit it two out of three shooting split though!).

Chad,

You are going to grow old waiting for me to get tired of the Crusader. But I think you already knew that! <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Would you believe I purposely titled the thread the way I did just to see if I could get that response out of you? GOTCHA!! <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle><img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Bill, It's just the opposite for me. Going to 3 under and sarting my draw from below the target is what cured (so far) my target panic. I just won't try and go back. Dick
