Default Check your nocks

I had a nock break on me during a shot today. Left a nice little pinch on my lip, and scared the "yerin" out of me. Check em, and check em often.

what kind of nocks are you shooting? The only nocks I've had come apart on shooting were a bad made self nock in extreme cold weather on cedar with a to large diameter string. I know it can happen, just be happy your bow is still intact

Just a plastic nock on an aluminum shaft. I knew it was a bit loose, but it was a supposed to be new.

I was making up some arrers a while ago, and found a cracked nock fresh from the packet. Still, that's the first one in twelve years.
