Default Pair of beginners...

Hello,
My wife and I are both starting in "unaugmented" archery! I've been bowhunting with compounds and my wife is an archery newbie. We both decided we'd like to try shooting traditional gear so I've been lurking and learning on the trad boards for a while. Look forward to posting and learning more from you all. It looks like there are a few other beginners here, so it should be fun.
Thanks

I'm a nubie too! Just got my first bow for Christmas and went to the range for the first time today. Embarassed to say that I missed the target on multiple shots.

welcome I have not purchased my bow yet but am getting some good advice on which traditonal bow to get I am still debating on either recurve or longbow but made my decision to go traditional after learning about fred bear and byron ferguson I feel it is the ultimate hunt to go traditional and not a copout of technology

welcome to trad. archery. nothing against compound shooters I hunt and go to 3-d shoots with several close friends who shoot modern equipment, but to me there is nothing like shooting trad gear. I still have alot to learn myself. To me thats half the fun picking the more experienced archers brains and trading stories. Enjoy!!!
