Default Low Poundage Bows?

I'm looking for a 40lbs pound recurve to practice instinctive shooting. All the Cabelas/BassPro bows start at 45 and up. Anyone have a suggetion for a good quality practice bow around 40lbs?

Hello Stick,
Try ebay. Lots of bows there. I just bought a Bear Black Bear there to shoot around with.

Try www.aimarchery.com They market a whole series of recurves that start at about $165 and go up. All of them are available in the 40# category. Also look at Chek-Mate bows www.recurves.com

Ebays the best, I paid $50 for a great old lefty bear(50lb.) It still works great and If I don't like shooting it (ya right) I can simply put it in the closet and only be out a few bucks
