Default My Son Amazed Me......

This past Saturday at a shoot in TN my son (9 years old) wanted to try to pull the longbow a guy in our group was shooting--49@28. I figured he would be dissapointed, but let him try. He yanked it back past his ear like it was nothing and held it a good 15-20 seconds, steady as a rock. Yesterday I let him pull a 55@28 recurve, and he pulled it almost to his ear and held it steady also. I was hoping that he would be able to hunt with me in the next year or two, but he can handle the weight now! Got to measure his draw and see what he's actually pulling, but I am sure he can handle 40# at his draw. Going to have to see how accurate he is with it before we hit the woods, but it's possible he will be hunting with me this year! It just blew me away......

Heck Chad, he's your son, so you gotta know he's a chip off the ol' stave. Congrats. Wish I had a son, even a daughter that was interested in huntin with their old dad.
