Default Antelope Hunt

Well guys off tomorrow on a 4 day antelope hunt in Wyoming. First time with traditional gear - I am going to try and video the event - Thanks to all the guys on this forum - I have learned alot over the past two years - Anyone have any last minute advice for this type of hunt with traditional gear?

Thanks

Ya, keep your head DOWN!!!

Went out with my longbow chasing the speedgoats and made a nice stalk up to a really nice goat, when I peeked up to see where he was he must of seen my head moving around and he sped off, I thought for sure he was in my freezer, they sure do have incredible eye sight for sure, GOOD LUCK,

Congrats, I'll bet you have a great hunt, those desert goats are lots of fun to bowhunt. I hunted em in WY in the 90's w/a longbow/tapered cedar arrow - great fun! I was in the Red Desert area, in Sweetwater county & saw a bunch of nice bucks each day. They can be very challenging, RobinHood36 is right, they have unreal vision!

Find some water & keep your head down. Be sure & let us know how ya make out.

I just came back from mine....oh man !..... I crawed up to one from 200 yrds to 35 yrds.,took me a whole hr. for that ,,when I finally reached a sage brush ,the antelpoe 14 incher was looking straight at me ,peeping through the twigs,he was going to bolt any secound, I drew side ways ,rose & shot ,by the time my arrows let the bow he was 10 yrds out ,my arrow hit to his right side ,,found the arrow ,no blood[:@] what a blast !!!....
