mysticguido - I drew a muzz tag for CO elk, but I have an awesome Kansas hunt planned as well as hunting around home in AR. Hunting of ANY kind is a good thing, doing it with trad equipment is just more icing, you know ?

Good luck ... this your first year or ??

I will be hunting black tail deer on small acrage farm and house plots here in Oregon. I got a nice alfalfa chomping, prune slurping, 140lbs.(big for a black tail) 3 point last year and I intend to hunt the same area again this year.

This year I am doubley blessed 'cause I get to take an extra antlerless deer. I will also hunt fall turkys. I got some pay back to put to those turkys for skunking me this spring!
