Default another great chek mate !

I recently ordered a new 56" hunter from Chad but found out some great news. He had a 56" hunter that was 60@28 ( same specs that I ordered ) Well not to miss a chance I said send it on out so I can have a matched set The first shot gave me flash backs lol. My first recurve was a 56" hunter and I have regretted getting rid of more than once. As always hats off to Marc at chak mate for biulding such great bows! Now I have this one to wear out while my other one gets biult

Jim it is not a standard chek mate and I don't believe you can get one like it again but the riser is phenolic and claro walnut. It makes it a little heavier than the standard woods and is almost bombproof.

Troy,
I sure like the looks of it. I have a TD Hunter 56 I bought used with a walnut, bubinga riser . It's a good looking bow, but I'd trade you in a heartbeat.

The riser on that one is Claro walnut and phenolic. Can get the Claro--pricey stuff for the good figure--but the phenolic can't be ordered. Once in a blue moon Marc has some left over that can't be used in another bow and he will do a special bow like that. Hate to get rid of them!

Jim I like the 56" hunter's so much that I have another on order right now. I am waiting to hear what woods are going to be in it but my request was for it to be breath taking first and worry about cost second so now I am to the waiting stage lol. They really are great bows for being shorties[8D]

Troy,
I totally agree they are great shorty recurves. I like mine so much I did the next best thing, had a set of lighter limbs made for it.
