want to know if recurve is ruined.

I was stringing my recurve today with a bow stringer and I did not realize that the string was on the wrong way on one of the limbs. To make a long story short when I released the tension on the bow stringer the limb twisted like a pretzel. It was only this way for a couple of seconds. That can't be good for it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the limb returned to its normal shape after the twist, it is probably fine.
Black Widow torture tests their bows far worse than that.
Most recurve limbs would amaze you with how much abuse they can take.
If the limb is twisted, there are ways to correct it and straighten it.
Check your limb for cracks and delaminations and shoot your bow awhile.
If it shoots ok for you and the limb remains straight, it is probably ok.
