Default String Setup

What kind of string setup are most of you shooting? I recently had LBR make me up a 12 strand dyna 97 in flemish twist. Noticed a marked increase in speed over my earlier 14 strand out of my #50 Bob Lee Stick.

16 strand dynaflight served with the spectra, cant remember the diameter. Tried a 15 strand but after a bunch of shooting the nocks seemed a little loose for me...

I'm not real sure, 16 strand Dyna97 I think. Chad has made all my strings for quite awhile, best around IMO!

I shoot one of Chads strings too. Have no idea how many strands though. Probably a 14 or 15 strand because of the weight of the bow.

14 strand Dynaflight 97 string with 2 extra 8" strands braided into each loop. Use nylon serving and muskrat or beaver fur silencers.

I use 14 (2 bundle) or 15 (3 bundle) strands of Dyna unless otherwise requested. You can get the #62 braid in 3 different sizes to fit most any nock/strand combo. It ain't cheap, but it wears like iron.

Lilhunter, I use 11/32" Bohning Classic Index nocks with such strings on all my bows. The nocks fit on the string with a gentle snap...enough that they stay on the string if I let them hang freely, but fall off with a light finger tap. Nock fit can be altered a little by changing how tightly or loosely the serving is wrapped.

right on Ak..I am using the 16 strands and a 5/16ths BC nock. Not sure but I think I need the bigger spectra serving as after a few months of shooting they seem to be 'almost' falling off lol.
