Default Longfellow arrow sealant

Anyone tried the new Longfellow Arrow Sealant that is in the new 3Rivers catalog? It says its a water based shaft sealer, but doesn't say if you wipe it on, gasket it on, or pound it on with a hammer. If you have used it, what do you think of it? Is it like the poly sealers that was discussed on here once before?

Dang Kip, it can't believe you aren't using the epoxy finish. However, I haven't heard anything about the new finish. My experience with water base is a pretty and smooth finish. But target burn is usually horrible. Take care.............Tom

Thats what I was wondering about the waterbase sealant Tom. My next batch of arrows this winter will be with your recipe, I promise. I was just wondering if the Longfellow Sealant was the new and improved version of something else. Thanks.

Sure you will Kip. That's what everyone says. [8D] I think most folks want a quick process and the epoxy isn't that at all. But the results are far superior to any other finish out there. Take care............Tom
