Default Hunter II shooters ?

What brace height are you shooting on your Chek-mate Hunter II ?

Start at around 8", then adjust as needed. You may have to go a little higher or lower, depending on the type string, your release, etc.

Well, I don't shoot the Hunter II, rather the Hunter 56. Mine's at 7-1/2", may go higher, but not much. Just remember... higher, slower but quieter - lower, faster but noisier. And of course, extreme either way will affect flight.

All of my hunter II's ended up between 8 1/8 and 8 1/4 but I use endless loop dyna 97 strings

I believe I have mine at 7 3/4" right now, but it could go higher. I'll be changing that though when I fix up some new arrows.

I don't want to sound stupid but here it goes. At which point are you measureing to? String to back of riser? Middle of shelf?? Front of riser??

Never clear on what point .

brennenKC I have always measured the brace height from the string to the thoat of the grip ( deepest part )
