1) The animal has not been accepted as the P&Y typical WT deer record yet, and cannot be untill 2003.
2) The present P&Y WR typical was shot by Mel Johnson in Peoria County IL in 1965.
3) The "Jordan buck" was the previous B&C typical WT deer prior to Milo Hansen's buck.
4) It'll be interesting to see how the "Zaft Buck" plays out. Apparently there's some issue about a possible abandoned recovery and the right side G2 & G3 having a common base, thereby reducing it's score to the 180's.
One thing's for sure though, it's one hell of an impressive animal.

JRW,
It's interesting that you note the G2/G3 base issue. In the pictures I saw of it, it did appear as those those two points had what I would call thick webbing between them. Although the pictures did not give a clear and distinct view of them, they did appear to have two different bases, they were just sorta adjoined at the hip as you will for maybe 3".
