Default My new moccasins to go with traditional hunting.

Just finished my moccasins. Technically my second pair to make but redesigned. This design looks better and has a double sole. Top is suede. Bottom is leather with elk skin black dressing.

Nice! I worry about scent control with moccasins, but would like to have a pair to wear anyway.

So far very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to hunt this evening. I worked too late.

Looks great, but I would not hunt in them. Leather, especially suede, carry stink real bad.

I think they're cool. I don't know about hunting with them, I always were snake boots. I walk out to my bind without a flashlight and would sure hate to step on a rattle snake or copper head.

I used to wear snake boots but they squeaked some when walking

I bought a pair of Magellan tall boot snake proof boots from Academy 6 or 8 years ago.. hunt before last I notice the bottom was coming off on my right boot, put on some Gorilla Glue on them and still work like a champ.

I used to use rubber boots and they sounded like a herd of elephants walking through the woods.

I like your boots; something Mick Dodge would be proud of.
