Default Need opinions on Slick Shot Glove

I've been looking at gloves recently and like the idea of the Slick Shot glove by American Leathers (see link). I've only been shooting my recurve for a couple of months and I'm still working on my form, but my main problem seems to be getting a consistently smooth release without plucking the string. I've tried shooting with a tab, and while I seem to get a smoother release, it doesn't feel comfortable and my accuracy is nowhere near as good as when I use a glove. If anyone out there has one of these gloves or has tried one please let me know what you think of it. Thanks!

I rub bow wax on my glove fingers to help my release.

Try this:
Spray your glove tips with Armourall and let it dry overnight, then rub talcum powder into the tips only. Makes a world of difference...

not that you aren't already, but are you really concentrating on back tension? i use a glove but if i lapse and forget back tension i pluck the string. as long as i concentrate on B/T it doesn't realy matter glove/tab/bare fingers.

OK, call me ignorant <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>. What's &quot;back tension?&quot;

At present, I prefer a tab but will try new things on occasion. When I shot a compound with a glove, I carried chapstick with me to 'lube' the tips. Worked pretty good, wasn't sticky like string wax.
