Default Anybody use a string tracker?

Just curious if anybody with trad gear uses a string tracker... I'm going to try it this fall and see how it works....

I wouldn't try one unless I'd practiced with it attached quite a bit... I'd be worried about arrow flight and having 1 more thing that could potentially skew a shot attached directly to the arrow.

So for me, I don't think I'd ever use one.

It's hunting season here. I have never tried one--did you? Curious to know how it went.

One more thing to mess up! And if it makes you miss or get a bad shot, it won't be of much help. No thanks. See http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/bowh...g-tracker.html and if you search around you will find other accounts of how this cost the hunter a nice buck. Works fine, until that one time when it wraps around a twig, arrow, or your finger!

I used to use one until that one time the string caught a twig and caused a bad hit. I was able to stalk the deer and finish it but I wont ever use one again. My advice is don't use it they are more trouble than they are worth.
