Default Help ID This Bow

Picked this long bow up at a garage sale. Wondering if anyone can give me some help in identifying it. Has the word "Ellenor" stamped or burned into it. Also the letter W. It is about 68 inches long.

I would venture to say it is a custom made bow. The name could imply the maker or the owner. I haven't found anything on it in my resources. I would check it over for damage, grab a new string and go shooting. If you have any Renaissance fairs, take it there and show it around, you might come across something there as well.

No idea--there's been a ton of wood bows put on the market--many are hard to identify.

Had one that looked like it, but it had no markings on it. Dark dyed bows are not that common. The name stamped on it could be the owner. Stemmler used to stamp their bows and a few others. Most used decals and they are long gone. I would not string it and shoot it.
