Recurve bow making questions

I read a post on recurve bow making and i'd like to give it a try. I have made a self bow before but this looks more fun. This is the post i read http://discussions.texasbowhunter.co...d.php?t=156538
It's a great post on another forum you should read through it. I was wondering where I could buy the lams and if you can buy hose to make the air hose for the press. Also are there any good books out there on bow making?
