Default Finally got to work with some of the skins I tanned this last season

I Tanned this coon and bobcat that I shot back in Oct. but havent had time to do anything with them. This last week, i decided to stitch them up into a quiver. I did fudge a bit. I lined it with suede that I had laying around. I also breaded the strap out of four leather shoe strings. I tanned some deer hides and made some deer leather that I was going to brade for the strap, but got a little lazy and didnt feel like striping it.

Those look good Kent. I just finished one last week but I didn't tan the leather, I think Tandy did.. I put enough fringe on it that Russ will probably be chasing me for it for years.
I made it to look old.. ( like me )

Excellent Bob. You always gritch and moan about not being able to do leather work. That looks like some darn good work to me. I wish my leather work was half that good.

Dont worry about Russ. He only has fringe on his under pants. Or is that Rowel? I think it might be Rowel.

I just don't like working leather, some how I feel gay using a needle!!
Don't tell Russ, but I'm building a long bow, I'm using hickory and bamboo... Next time I come up, I'll use it or my re curve I had last time... BTW Kent, ain't it about time to stick some pigs? Don't tell Rowel either. We'll have more fun without him or Russ.
