Default Updated Pics

Of Bails bow.

This is the 3rd riser I have made for this bow, the first one Tiger Stripe Pecan broke in 1/2 when I was test shooting it.
The second was Pecan/Ash with Redwood accent strips started to delaminate when I put it back into the oven to cure the epoxy holding the stirling silver logo

So here is riser number 3 I know this one ain't gonna break or delaminate

Braced.

Close up views.

Sight window side.

Off side.

Not bad for a piece of Ossage that the guy I brought the log from said the only good thing the log was good for was fire wood

The limbs are Mesquite from 2 different boards from 2 different trees with Pecan Wedges/ limb butt overlays and Axis deer antler tip overlays.

The pics don't really do her any justice, like all good women she needs to be seen and fondled to really appreciate her

I did get a chance to do some test shooting with her this afternoon, she is quick a lot quicker than I thought she was gonna be even with my 620gr arrows and she grouped real nice consistant 3" groups at 20 yards.

Still have a couple of more coats of finish to put on the riser but am waiting on some more logo's to turn up.
