I brought about 40 board feet of it

Thinking of doing Mesquite Limbs with the Pecan as limb butt and tip overlays

Didn't know Pecan was so purdy. Strong as all get out too.

I have never seen Pecan with the tiger stripe so I got a board of it 8' x 4' x 2", I think I should be able to get another couple of risers out of it and maybe a set of limbs

I'll come by and get it off your hands when you're finished with it.BTW 29 in draw @ 60#'s will do.

I forgot to tell ya, I'm going to try to hunt with my recurve this year. After I get some in the freezer first.

Russ, I'd like to but this stupid thing I have called a job is getting in the way. Maybe when the perv moves out, I'll have more room and God willing one day I'll have more time. But yes it would be a good idea what you asked me about the other day. I'd really like to stock up on some Damascus steel first. From now on, all the knives I make will be made out of Damascus steel.
