On a spring break vacation figured might as well throw in a Hog Hunt. I sold all the compound gear about 3 months ago and have been shooting the recurve ever since. I needed to break in the new gear, before this upcoming deer season. Hunted in south florida made a nice 15 yard shot on a big sow about 225 pounds. Im shooting a 50lb Martin X150, 35/55 goldtips with 10grains per inch weight tubes, and a 250 grain 2 blade Zwickey total arrow weight is 770 grains, its like hittem with a steel pipe. I hit this sow right in the shoulder blade high and ticked the spine. The pig went right down in its tracks, never seen anything like it. After examining the pig skinned the broadhead went right through the shoulder blade
