Default ? about a old Bear recurve

I have a older Bear Kodiak Magnum Recurve... It has a date of 1953 and say it was made in Michagan...

I bought it off this old guy I work with... It has a old looking sight on the front of the bow that has like peep sight pins...

Just wondering if the bow is worth anything... I bought it to hunt with , but if it's a collector i will not...

You tell the date of the bow from the serial number on the riser. The 53' was a patent year and the grayling, mi was where it was made! Whats the serial number???

The Kodiak Magnum was made from 1961-1977.Depending on condition,it could be worth anywhere from $150-$250.Hunt with it
