Hey, I just got a PSE Impala @ 45# for christmas and im trying to tune it. I currently have my nock point at 1/4" and have noticed my arrows kicking left then right before they hit the target. Im shoot xx75 2216's at 32" and magnus snuffer 150gr tips. Like i said im new to this and am just starting so any advice or tips would be appreciated, And i know my arrows are most likely gonna need to be cut i just havnt gotten around to getting em done yet.
2216 arrows might be tad stiff for your set up. Arrows do have to flex some when they go through your riser when there released, maybe yours aren't flexing enough. Try some lighter spined arrows and see what happens. Keep an eye on your release as well, you might be plucking some too.
2216's are way too stiff...they spine at 84#.If you draw 28",try a 1916.You might be able to shoot a 2016 if you use those 150gr tips.Under 28" go with a 1816
Like others have said, you are more then likely way too stiff. 1916is agood starting point and should get you close. To bring things into comparison, I use a 2117 (higher deflection then 2216) for my 67# recurve. I use a 2016 for my 54# recurve.
Also, since you got it for Christmas, I wouldn't bother worrying about tuning it for a while. Do some bail shooting and develop form. Maybe mess around some trying to shoot accurate, but keep it about 50/50. For bail shooting, I wouldn't worry about shooting the 2216's, that is unless you are wacking the riser with the arrow.

Since you're shooting 2016's with a 150gr tip and they're still fishtailing...try a 125gr at that length(32").Also,where are the arrows grouping? Are they grouping in the middle,left, or right? You could cut 1/2" off ONE shaft,put the insert back in and see how that flies.If the waggling looks better,cut another 1/2" off and try again.I shoot 2016's opff my 47# longbow and they're cut at 28.25" with a 125gr tip(I draw 27").Also,make sure the brace hgt. is set right

with what every one else has said try a lighter 125gr. maybe even 100gr. head i was haveing the same problem when i was shooting XX75's and swiched to a lighter head and then they flew alot better but now i have swiched to wooden arrows and they fly the best from my bow
