What do you all do to keep your string quite (sticking to the limbs) when you pull your bow back? Every time I put a new string on It's kinda sticky and when I pull It back you can hear It peeling away ever so slightly In the grooves on the limbs. I've put mole skin on the limbs and I can still hear It when I pull It back. I know In time the noise will go away once the string dry's some but man this one I have now Is really sticky.
I bind the top and bottom serving of the string with wool. I have never had the creaking.... Probably because I am using the original string, but this also helps quiet the string at the shot.

Yes. I also use the bow hush and hush puppies. I would have thought the moleskin would have worked though. Some people soak the end of theirstrings in acetone I believe to remove the wax on the ends. I've never really tried it though. There was a post on here a while back on it.
