Default fletching jigs

I need one. Like everything about the bitz except the price. I know it's the gold standard, but it's not in the cards for me right now.

I was looking at kustom king and 3 rivers, they have the bitz type fletchers that are made of polycarbonate, less than $30. Bohning is one, not sure of the other.

I don't fletch a bunch of arrows. Maybe a half dozen per year including repairs. Any reason why one of these type of fletchers wouldn't fit the bill for me?

I'll be using feathers with tape.

Thanks

The Bitz is worth the money, but the BPE Pro is a good one and costs a lot less. Not sure about the others.

This thread got me to thinking and I was trying to remember where I got my fletching gig, or the brand. I have on clue. I bought it 25 years ago and it still works great. I guess it was money well spent.

I used a Arizona EZ fletch for 20 years and it worked great, just switched to the Jo-Jan and love it. It does every thing the Bitz does and leaves me some money for beer and feathers.
