Default Another funny story to retell

Today as the last of the snow melted off under the seventy degree plus sunshine a flock of turkeys came flying from across the creek to feed on the uncovered acorns in our yard. As I stood there watching them from the house I remembered a short little tale about my son. Last fall while I was in Washington D.C. my wife had just finished picking up my son from the school bus and was returning back to the house when she spotted a flock of turkeys in our yard. My son being the mighty future hunter he is could not believe there were turkeys in his yard! The jeep had no sooner stopped when my son jumped out and fetched his butterfly net from the garage. You can likely guess what he intended to do with the net. Off he ran, net in hand and determined to catch himself a turkey! From what I was told he didn' t stop till they were well out of range. I wonder what he would have done had he caught one????
Just the other day he asked me when the last time I went hunting was and I couldn' t remember. I had to promise to take him out turkey hunting this year ( a promise not to hard to give ). Hope you all enjoyed the story.

I wonder what the Turkeys were thinking.

I was out walking with my sons scouting some new hunting land. The boys wanted to know what kind of animals lived there. We started telling them and when we got to porcupine, one appears in front of us. My 8 year old starts to run toward it until we yell to stop. I ask him what he was doing and he said he was going to catch it because it looked so fluffy like a stuffed animal. Once we explained what the fluffy look was he' s never chased anything before asking..lol!!!!!
