No one would know that better than the man himself-John Fazio I wondered the same thing about my Mahaska longbow and asked on a message board but got no results. A two minute phone call to the bowyer cleared it up.

Thanks, set it up with a 71/4" brace height. Shoots nice. A little heavy for my liking 67# @ 30" . I was able to shoot thru my Monster Tough Bag target though!

CT B,

Sounds like you have some good trading material if the Ballistic is too heavy for you. It is NOT a cheap recurve! I can' t believe you got it for a rod & reel and $50! Your friend quit bowhunting?

Yep, he went back to the darkside and bought a compound[]. Funny thing is I traded my bow with a dealer in Minnesota. He ended up trading the bow back to my friend for 2 of his longbows!!!!!

Well that was the shortest time I owned a bow. TroynOH called to see if I would sell it and bingo... I shipped it off this afternoon. At least a diehard recurve hunter got it, and it' s a perfect draw weight for him. It shot smooth just not at the poundage I prefer. Still haven' t convinced this longbow shooter to make the switch
